India wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant seems restless to get back on the cricket field. Recovering from a toe fracture sustained during the fourth Test against England in Manchester this July, Pant shared a picture of his bandaged foot on Instagram with the caption: “How many days in this?”—a clear sign of his eagerness to return.
The 27-year-old picked up the injury while attempting a reverse sweep off Chris Woakes. The ball ricocheted off his bat and struck his right foot, leaving him in visible discomfort. Medical scans later confirmed a metatarsal fracture, ruling him out of the remainder of the Test series and putting him on a six-week recovery timeline.
