Tiger Shroff is all set to make a smashing comeback with the latest instalment of the 'Baaghi' franchise, alongside veteran actor Sanjay Dutt. The fourth installment of the franchise is releasing this Friday, is already showing signs of a powerful start—advance booking numbers have crossed the 1 lakh mark. Infact, it is slowly inching towards now 2 lakh tickets sold in the advance bookings. The film has a brand value now and hence, there's also a loyal fan following but 'Baaghi 3' did not do that well at the box office as it released in 2020 during Covid 19, right before lockdown happened. As per industry tracker Sacnilk, 'Baaghi 4' will make a decent opening day number. So far, the film has sold 1,94,236 tickets across India, pointing to a strong opening-day turnout. With 8,324 shows lined up nationwide, the film is set for a wide release across multiple regions. The early buzz has translated into decent earnings in advance bookings. Day one advance sales have raked in a gross of ₹4.76 crore in advance bookings. When we include the block bookings, the collection so far on day 1 from the advance sales is Rs 7.4 crore gross. The business tracking portal further reported that the film has received an enthusiastic response in several states.
Maharashtra leads the pack, contributing ₹63.13 lakh from 1,486 shows. Delhi NCR followed with ₹48.27 lakh from 879 shows, while Gujarat logged ₹42.09 lakh from 1,297 screenings.Other regions have also delivered solid numbers, including Rajasthan at ₹35.82 lakh, Uttar Pradesh at ₹27.6 lakh, and West Bengal with ₹24.27 lakh. What’s noteworthy is that even smaller markets such as Kerala and Tamil Nadu recorded occupancy levels of 14–16%, reflecting the film’s pan-India appeal. One can predict 'Baaghi 4' to open at around Rs 9-10 crore on day 1. But if the walk-in entries increase in the night shows, and the film makes more than Rs 10 crore on day 1, it will be great. Releasing on September 5, 'Baaghi 4' won’t have a solo run at the cinemas. It faces competition from 'The Bengal Files' and 'The Conjuring: Last Rites', both set to hit theatres on the same day. The film may face a tough competition from these two new releases. Meanwhile, the release of the previous week, 'Param Sundari' may see a drop in the numbers with the new releases. There may also be decrease in the number of shows with the newer releases dominating on the screens. 'Baaghi 4' also stars Sanjay Dutt, Harnaaz Sandhu, Sonam Bajwa apart from Tiger.
