'Baaghi 4' is gearing up for a strong start at the box office. Tiger Shroff’s much-awaited action spectacle has recorded impressive advance booking numbers ahead of its release today, September 5, according to early estimates by industry tracker Sacnilk.
Box office collection
So far, the film has grossed an estimated Rs 5.54 crore from the sale of 2.23 lakh tickets across 9,892 shows, primarily from its Hindi 2D screenings. With the inclusion of blocked seats, Day 1 advance bookings are projected to rise to around Rs 8.47 crore.
Highest-earning Hindi belts
Region-wise, Maharashtra leads with collections of Rs 1.52 crore, followed by Delhi at Rs 1.33 crore. Gujarat has contributed Rs 78.03 lakh, while Rajasthan stands at an estimated Rs 63 lakh.
The film marks Tiger Shroff’s return with the fourth instalment of the blockbuster 'Baaghi' franchise, which continues to enjoy strong buzz among action lovers.
'Baaghi' to hit double digits
'Baaghi 4' is currently recording one of the best pre-sales for a Shroff starrer in the post-pandemic era, making it one of the most closely watched releases of the year.
Directed by A. Harsha, the film’s advance sales suggest a potential opening in the Rs 12–13 crore net range.
However, some trade experts remain cautious, citing the possibility of inflated figures due to block bookings. Despite this, industry trackers are certain that the film will comfortably secure a double-digit opening day. With strong spot bookings, the opening day could realistically land in the Rs 9–11 crore net range.
The 'Baaghi' series has historically delivered good openings, thanks to its mass appeal and adrenaline-packed action sequences. Whether 'Baaghi 4' can sustain momentum beyond its first day remains the key question.
'Baaghi 4' vs 'The Bengal Files'
Meanwhile, the film faces box office competition from The Bengal Files, which has so far recorded an advance collection of Rs 1.22 crore with blocked seats, and Rs 63.63 lakh without blocked seats.
About the film
Alongside Shroff, Baaghi 4 introduces former Miss Universe Harnaaz Sandhu as the leading lady, with Sonam Bajwa in a pivotal role and Sanjay Dutt playing a menacing antagonist. The cast also includes Shreyas Talpade in a prominent role. Notably, the film has received an ‘A’ certificate from the CBFC, signalling a raw, unfiltered cinematic approach for the franchise’s latest chapter.
